Mother is a ongoing photographic project that explores themes of grief, loss, identity, and heredity. The project began when the artist's mother was diagnosed with terminal cancer, prompting a deep reflection on their relationship and the artist's own identity. Through photographic visuals and storytelling, Mother is a tribute to the complexities of the human experience, of self-discovery and reflection on the relationship between mother and child.
The project won 1st price "Eget arbeid/personal project" at Gullsnitt 2022.
